Glenn Pierce

Glenn was literally born into the Car/Motorcycle/Boat/RV business. His father, Sammy, was one of the first riders on the Indian Motorcycle factory team. During and after his racing career Sammy owned numerous dealerships. He firmly believed that you start at the bottom. So, Glenn started his career in the automotive business sweeping floors and stocking parts. Before too long he was running many of the family’s enterprises.

Glenn is probably best known for being an owner of The Car Factory, another sizable automotive brokerage firm here in Central California.

After a long tenure at The Car Factory, Glenn decided that it was time to retire. That lasted all of about two years. He soon realized that he missed his clients, he missed all of the contacts that he had developed throughout the years, and he missed being around the cars.

When you are a true “car guy” you can only stay away so long.

We could not be happier that Glenn has chosen to bring his immeasurable talents and resources back into the business at the California Motoring company.

Jim Wirth

Jim easily traces his enthusiasm for cars back to his earliest memories. Spending a large portion of his teenaged years in the Detroit area, the promised land of the American automotive industry, only solidified those feelings. He would probably be the first to admit that he is a muscle car guy.

We would tell you that he is the “real deal.” His over all knowledge can only be attributed to years of focus and extensive work in the business.

Jim fits in here, at the California Motoring Company, so well because the level of service required to be a part of our team is second nature to him.

Rhonda Gaede

Rhonda is the office manager. She is the administrative hub of the entire organization.

Her educational background is a B.S. degree from Fresno Pacific University.

Prior to joining the team at the California Motoring Company, her working career had taken her from a teaching position, to the administrative associate’s role at another brokerage firm.

She has earned her Honorary Masters Degree in Automotive Administration.

By bringing her considerable organizational skills and professionalism to the office everyday, she makes it possible for the rest of the team to do what they do best – serve clients.

Scott Radtke

Even though Scott is the founder of the California Motoring Company, he is probably the least likely of the group to wind up a car guy. You see, Scott is a preacher’s kid and most people would say that the church and the car business are polar opposites. The fact of the matter is that they are both extremely intense service businesses. And even though he was “Pastor Bob,” Scott’s dad was always tinkering with cars – from Kharmen Ghias to Cadillac’s.

Motorcycles were Scott’s first love, and racing takes its toll on the equipment. Consequently, Scott started learning the mechanical end of things very early in his career.

It was such a natural transition from motorcycles to cars that it’s difficult to tell exactly when the primary focus shifted, but at 16 Scott opened his first auto repair business.

It’s not uncommon for a repair shop, when things slow down, to buy, recondition, and resell cars. So, the next logical step was the brokerage business. All of the experience gained by repairing and restoring vehicles became invaluable to their clients when it was time for them to get new vehicles.

All that you have to do is look in the “help wanted” section of the classifieds in order to see that most dealerships and brokerage firms are looking for the inexperienced, who are strictly motivated by money, to fill their sales positions.

Scott had one thing in mind for the California Motoring Company, to start the consummate automotive brokerage firm staffed by automotive professionals. They believe that they have been blessed to do just that.
